Questions & Answers

When did you join IMET?

I joined IMET Alloys in October 2021. Before then, I was European Sales Manager at Wyman Gordon, a division of Precision Cast Parts Corporation.

What do you do here at IMET? What is your main responsibility?

I joined IMET to establish our new superalloy and titanium processing center of excellence in France. This facility makes it possible to retain critical raw materials in Europe through the efficient circular economies and closed loop supply chains we’re establishing with the French and wider European aerospace industry.

What do you need to be good at to do your job well? What particular skills and knowledge do you have?

My 15 years of work experience in the aerospace industry has given me a strong foundation for my role with IMET Alloys. In my position, I have to be able to work on multiple projects, sometimes under pressure and always while anticipating our company and customer needs.

For me, it’s important that I understand and manage all the aspects of our business: operations, commercial, finance, health and safety, environmental, human resources, and so on.

Every day I face a new challenge that I’m able to overcome because of my background in engineering and sales and management, and because of the great internal group support you get here at IMET.

What problems do you need to overcome as part of your work?

Every day is a new challenge, which I really enjoy. Setting up and managing a new plant is a fantastic adventure!

My daily work requires a lot of organization, and I must be able to prioritize tasks so I make my days as productive as possible.

How do you know when your work has gone well?

When I leave the plant at the end of the day, knowing that everything is 100% under control and that we have a highly motivated team who are ready to face the new challenges tomorrow will bring.

What do you enjoy most about your job and working in this industry?

I really enjoy the company culture and atmosphere here at IMET Alloys.

My role in France is, from my point of view, an excellent way to create value and sustainability for our planet.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I enjoy spending time with my family and having fun with my daughter.

Every week I run or cycle. And my favorite season is winter for skiing.
