IMET Alloys partners with South Piedmont Community College on its Leadership Academy Program

IMET Alloys is proud to be a partner with South Piedmont Community College on its Leadership Academy Program. The program launched in February 2021 and is designed to help local businesses and industries support their employees’ personal and professional development.

Members of the IMET team started the program in March 2021 and say:

“The instructor kept the class engaged and made this a wonderful and informative learning experience.”

“I learned a lot from the group sessions and can see the difference in people’s perspectives on leadership.”

Mike Oruska, Chief Operating Officer for IMET Monroe, said:

“The Leadership Academy has had a positive impact on our team. A few of the people who attended have engaged management personnel and said how the classes have opened their eyes to the leadership side of the business and the issues managers face in operating a business. This broader understanding has energized them, and we can see they are more engaged.

IMET’s management team is excited with the initial results from the Leadership Academy and looks forward to continuing the program.”
