When did you join IMET?
I joined IMET at the beginning of September 2021. Before joining the company, I completed my MEng in Chemical Engineering at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.
What attracted you to IMET? As a graduate, what does the company offer you?
I was attracted to IMET because of the company’s commitment to creating a circular economy and innovation within the industry. The company is growing, and all the conversations I had with IMET staff were filled with passion and excitement.
As a graduate, IMET allows me to work on meaningful, live projects with a degree of autonomy and responsibility unheard of from other graduate positions.
What do you do here at IMET? What is your main responsibility?
I help assess and optimize current IMET operations, alongside R&D projects.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I moved to Scotland in 2012 to pursue a career as a high-performance athlete in judo. However, after competing for Great Britain on numerous occasions, I ‘hung up’ my judo suit to focus on my professional career.
Today I coach judo and also enjoy playing rugby and eating great food!
